When did you start working at Pavo:
January 2007

My previous jobs:
I worked in retail cosmetics in college and landed at the Aveda Experience Center while I was in hair school. That’s how I met Scot and Shawn!

My hometown and places I have lived:
My hometown is Little Rock, AR. I traveled to Central and South America doing mission work after graduating from high school. I also lived in East Texas for a year, before coming to Memphis to attend college here.

I decided to become a stylist because:
I was that girl, in my dorm room, cutting all of my friend’s hair and experimenting with my own hair, even though I had no idea what I was doing! One of my managers was a retired cosmetology teacher and suggested that I go to hair school, so I did!

Who is your dream client and why:
Someone who truly enjoys getting their hair done and is willing to try new looks from time to time. Someone who views haircare as self-care, even if their style is low maintenance.

My professional goal is:
To continue to grow my craft and foster my love of hair so I can offer my clients the best possible experience.

What I want every client to know about me:
I love collaboration! I love to hear what your inspirations are and what goals you have for your hair!

If you aren’t at the salon, where else can you be found:
At home with my husband and twins, probably gardening, cooking, or making a cocktail for my closest friends, and planning my next getaway!
