When did you start working at Pavo:
January of 2022.
My previous jobs:
I’ve lifeguarded, taught swim lessons, nannied, waited tables, and done photography as a side gig for the last few years.
My hometown and places I have lived:
I’m a Tennessee girl through and through! I was born in Memphis, grew up in Nashville, and went to college in Knoxville.
I decided to become a stylist because:
From a young age, I have always been obsessed with hair, makeup, and fashion. I was always the girl in my friend group that would do everyone’s hair and makeup. I am also super creative and love to draw and paint. I saw being a stylist as a way to combine those two strengths as well as fulfill my passion for instilling confidence in others.
Who is your dream client and why:
Anyone who is as invested in their hair as I am and willing to learn! Having beautiful, healthy hair starts in the salon, but it’s home care and styling that supports your everyday look. I’m here to be used as a resource, and am excited to collaborate to help you reach your hair goals!
My professional goal is:
My main goal is to maintain a growth mindset no matter where I am in my career. The hair industry is ever-evolving, so there is always something new to learn! I also would love to work in the world of editorial hairstyling.
What I want every client to know about me:
I love to laugh and joke around, but I take my job very seriously! Trusting someone to cut and/or color your hair is a big deal, and I never take that for granted.
If you aren’t at the salon, where else can you be found:
At home watching a true crime documentary or right next door at Knifebird with pals.
