When did you start working at Pavo:
November 2017

My previous jobs:
I worked at two other Aveda salons before finding a home at Pavo. I also worked at a high-end, local vintage boutique. Even further back, during high school and throughout beauty school, I worked at a restaurant. It taught me a lot about the service industry.

My hometown and places I have lived:
Memphis is home. I also lived in Knoxville, TN, for 11 years.

I decided to become a stylist because:
I decided to become a stylist because I enjoy the workplace and how it encourages creativity. I love making people feel confident about themselves by creating a space to just chill out, get pampered and leave refreshed.

Who is your dream client and why:
Not to be cliché, but I’ve always felt like being Lady Gaga’s hairstylist would be so fun! She is always changing her look! I also love how she wears vintage hairstyles. I guess I like how she can transform from modern/out-of-the-box to someone classic and chic. Plus, I’d be able to travel with her!

My professional goal is:
My professional goal is to do more with photography and photoshoots. I’ve always been inspired by fashion magazine ads and photo spreads.

What I want every client to know about me:
There are no secrets with me. I will always be honest with you. I’ve been doing hair for seven years, exclusively with Aveda, and love how “granola” we are as a company. I care a lot for our environment. I love how Aveda has been a trailblazer in the sustainable beauty industry. Balance really is key and that’s what Ayurveda teaches.

If you aren’t at the salon, where else can you be found:
If I’m not at the salon, hopefully, I’m traveling somewhere scenic! But if I’m in town, I usually hang out with my family and cat.
