When did you start working at The Well
October 2011
My hometown and places I have lived:
Dowagiac, MI is my hometown. I have also lived in East Lansing, MI for five years while attending Michigan State University and Douglas J Aveda Institute and London, England while studying abroad.
I decided to become an esthetician because:
I fell in love with this profession after working at the front desk at an Aveda Institute while also attending college. It became clear to me that Esthetics was what I loved to do more than any other profession. That is still true after 16 years!
My favorite spa service:
Hydrafacials! I love how I can customize the facials and have been enjoying the results I’m seeing from Hydrafacial Keravive Scalp Treatments on my clients.
Who is your dream client and why:
I love working with each and every client I have met over the 16+ years of doing this. One of my favorite parts of this profession is the relationships I have built over the years and the joy I get in helping someone love their skin.
My professional goal:
I feel very happy with where I am in my career right now! I work four days a week, seeing clients and training our new estheticians. I love continuing to focus on new education and bringing it to our spa staff. Finding work/life balance with family and my love for this profession is so important to me at this point in my life.
What I want every client to know about me:
I truly love helping people with their skin and finding the best at-home skincare routines and professional spa treatment plans for each individual. I always try to customize treatments for the specific day a client comes in, so it is exactly what they (their skin and soul) need that day.
If you are not in the spa, where else can you be found:
At home and around the parks and playgrounds in Memphis with my husband and two boys.
